YouthPlaces believes the crux of positive youth development is healthy lifestyles with ample physical activity and good nutrition. Since the inception of YouthPlaces, recreation opportunities have been integrated into program schedules. Recently, YouthPlaces has increase efforts physical activity and improve nutrition, discovering strategies and activities for teens in after school teen programs.

YP Fit has the following goals:

  1. Increase levels of physical activity for teenagers.
  2. Foster healthy lifestyles through health, nutrition, and physical activity.
  3. Improve nutrition and eating habits of teens.
